For this project we developed a suite of new modules to handle the community aspect of the site, redesigned and structure the content and created the character illustrations for the cast. We also integrated both an SMS system for voting and news updates and a Paypal based payment system for buying bulk votes for your favourite auditions.

This community website was developed using an in house created bespoke content management system. The users could setup an account then interact with other community members in a variety of ways. There are video introductions to each section and a video doctor who responds to questions that you type in relating to smoking. There is also a Ciggy Bank that keeps track of your savings and a calendar that shows you where you are in your quitting plan in relation to other users. There are also useful downloads such as cut down charts available.

This system allows five different websites that are part of the same group of companies to share a central content management system, allowing content to be updated in one place and shared out using a combination of XML and RSS to the various sites. A dynamic templating system allows each site to have it's own individual themes and settings, aswell as content that is specific to that site and that site only.
