A Creative City Presentation for Creative Republic
This video presentation was created by The Adhere Creative for Creative Republic’s stand at Birmingham Forward’s event at Council house in October 2008.
Alex Jovy Introduction Video
This short intro video was filmed in house against our greenscreen. It was then cut with some animated background graphics to produce a catchy, punchy introduction to the community website www.itsourmovie.com
Jovy has directed over 40 Television Commercials as well as award winning short and feature films. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his very first film called “Holiday Romance”. His latest feature film called “Sorted” had a world wide success and opened in the UK on 250 screens.

Creative Republic Launch Video
This video was filmed in Vertu, a bar in Birmingham's Jewelery Quarter for the launch of public sector representative body - The Creative Republic. It contains brief introduction from Chairmen - Helga Henry - plus a short thank you from award winning blogger - Pete Ashton. It also contains a few brief thoughts and ideas from some of the board members.
Working with Karl and the Adhere team is always a real pleasure because they believe in going the extra mile to ensure an exceptionally high level of client service. As well as being highly responsive and efficient, there's a genuine team ethos that means they're relaxed and fun to work with, even when under pressure with a deadline looming. Working with people who care so passionately about building a solid relationship and delivering what the client wants on time, every time, is a rarity. It is a privilege to work with this special team of people which is why I happily recommend Adhere services whenever the opportunity arises.

Itsourmovie Promo video
This humorous promo video was cut together using user submitted auditions from www.itsourmovie.com. The soundtrack and quote graphics were added and scratchy old film effects were added to create the feel of an old silent movie. Finally the whole sequence was slightly speeded up to complete the effect.
Absolutely brilliant, that is so cool, great music as-well. Can we also put it on the website please as it is really cool. The new Trailer Reel looks really awesome, very happy with it!

Rhubarb Rhubarb
Rhubarb Rhubarb presented the ninth Rhubarb Review. We were there to film a short event overview for event supporters the Creative Republic
A very exhausted yet happy Rhubarb team would like to say a very big “Thank You” to everyone who took part this year. You all helped to make it one of the most successful Rhubarb events ever. We’re back in the office and planning the tenth Rhubarb already. Watch this space and check your e-mails for updates. Later this year we’re holding another Cultivate event - dates and venue to be announced soon.

The Big City Plan
Creative Republic in association with Birmingham city council held an event at Council house in August 2008 to discuss Birmingham's big city plan. This video shows some edited highlights from the event, including sections from the three main speakers - Mark Ball, Jerry Blackett and Mike Whitby - plus some feedback from the people who attended the event.
The Cultural Olympiad
In January 2008, Paul Kaynes was appointed the West Midlands Cultural Olympiad Creative Programmer. Paul will be outlining some of the ways in which local organisations can participate in a range of projects and seek ideas to help shape those projects. In return, Paul will be looking to get a sense of the ideas and partnerships that could be formed. Although the majority of tenders being sought are from not for profit organisations, Paul will briefly touch on tenders from businesses as well as encourage guests to discuss ideas with him during the networking session immediately afterwards.
It was a great event, very open and informative and it definitely gave Paul and some of our Regions’ Creatives, something to think about as the initiative is driven forward.
